Remote Control pairing
Press and hold the power button on the remote control for 3 seconds, to poweron. Connect the paired Board according to the prompt. 
- Press Power Button 3s (vibrates on)
- Select “Search Pairing”
- Waiting for search
When it is turned on for the first time, the board will be automatically activated after the battery is installed (please ensure a network connection). Check whether the network of the remote control is normal. Only when the network is normal can the board be successfully activated

JetWave devices support OTA upgrades. We highly recommend regularly checking for firmware upgrades and updating to the latest version for a better user experience. Refer to P41 for details.
Initial Device Binding
For board owners, it is recommended to scan the QR code with the App to bind the device in order to enjoy more services, such as remotely accessing device session records, setting safety zones, and activating product warranty periods.
- Open the QR code on the remote control when successfully connected to the board.
- Swipe down to pop up the Remote Controller Settings
- Tobetsa "About"
- Click “Bind ID”
- Show QR code.
- In the app, tap “+” on the Device page, Scan QR code.
- After successful binding, the APP device interface will display the bound device information; the controller will display the bound ID information.

- Warranty period varies by region and usage. Additional warranty benefits beyond standard coverage are only available to the original owner after binding. See JetWave websebaka bakeng sa lipehelo tse felletseng tsa tiisetso.

User Login (Optional)
Login Method 1: Open the “Login” interface on the remote control and log in by scanning the code with the APP.
- Swipe up to access login screen
- In APP, go to Personal Center and tap scan icon
Login Method 2: Enter the JetWave ID and password on the remote control screen to complete the login.

- Get your JetWave ID/password from APP Personal Center > Avatar > Personal Information.
- Riders can view sessions on devices they log into.
- Device owners can view all records for their devices.
Mode Selection & Gear Setting
Choose between three control modes (Beginner/Sport/Wild) based on your skill level.

- Each mode has different gear settings that you can adjust as needed.

Ending Your Ride
- Hold the power button for 3 seconds to end your ride and sync data to the app.

- To power off, hold until the shutdown screen appears, then slide to confirm.
- For a force shutdown, hold for 10 seconds.

- View Session Log in app (Personal Center → Ride History).

- Power on remote control,ensure connection to board and online.
- Swipe down and select firmware upgrade option.
- Review current versions. Click “Firmware Upgrade” to update all modules with “NEW” status.

- For system upgrade, swipe left and click “Upgrade Now”.
- Click “Check Version” to upgrade automatically. Remote will restart after upgrade.

- The remote control battery must be above 50% before upgrading.
Remote Control Re-Pairing
If the remote control loses connection or is replaced, you’ll need to pair it with the surfboard.
- Power on the board with the battery installed.

- Turn on the remote control, click search, find the board’s Bluetooth signal, and select it to connect.

Remote Control Calibration
- Power on remote control in end-of-session state
- Go to Settings → Remote Control Calibration
- Follow prompts to calibrate throttle trigger by fully pressing and releasing multiple times

Remote Control Network Status Checking
Network must available at first power-on for successful board activation.
- Power on remote control, swipe down for settings.
- Go to System Parameters → Network Settings.
- Check network status – contact support if not normal.

- JetWave provides 2 years of free 4G data. After expiry, users should renew their subscription or use a WiFi hotspot.

- Ensure the board battery is inserted and the lid is closed.
- Check if the remote control has a normal network connection.
- Try restarting both the remote and the board.
- Ensure both devices are within range.
- App not binding to the device:
- Ensure the remote is successfully connected to the board.
- Check your app’s internet connection.
- Ensure you are scanning the correct QR code (from “Bind ID” on the remote).
- Cannot log in:
- Verify your JetWave ID and password.
- Check your remote’s network connection.
- If using app scan, ensure the app is connected to the internet.
- Session records not appearing in app: Ensure you were logged into your account on the remote control before starting your ride.
