The EKO EK6221-55L-WH is a 55-liter capacity waste bin designed for both home and commercial use, featuring a semi-circular shape for efficient space utilization and a quiet closing lid mechanism.
1. Seta
1.1 Unboxing le ho Beha
- Carefully remove all packaging materials from the waste bin.
- Place the waste bin on a flat, stable surface. Its semi-circular design allows it to fit snugly against a wall, optimizing space.

1.2 Installing the Garbage Bag
- Lift the lid of the waste bin.
- Place your garbage bag inside the bin.
- Utilize the smart liner unit (stainless steel frame) by placing it over the top edge of the garbage bag. This secures the bag and prevents its edges from being visible from the outside, ensuring a neat appearance.
- Ensure the bag fixer on the back of the lid is properly engaged with the bag to prevent slipping.

2.1 Ho Bula Sekwahelo
- Ts'ebetso ea Pedal: Gently step on the foot pedal located at the base of the bin. The lid will open smoothly. This allows for hygienic, hands-free operation.
- Tšobotsi ea ho Lula U Bulehile: For extended use or when changing the garbage bag, lift the lid manually until it locks into the fully open position.
2.2 Ho Koala Sekwahelo
- The EKO waste bin features a Quiet Closing System with an oil damper. When the lid is released from the open position (either by removing your foot from the pedal or gently pushing it down from the stay-open position), it will close slowly and silently. This mechanism prevents abrupt slamming and reduces noise.

3. Tlhokomelo
3.1 Ho hloekisa
- The waste bin features a matte finish that is resistant to fingerprints and smudges, making it easy to clean.
- Hlakola bokantle ka bonolo, damp cloth and a mild detergent if necessary. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals, as these may damage the finish.
- For the interior, remove the garbage bag and wipe down with a damp cloth. Ensure the bin is dry before placing a new bag.
4. Ho rarolla mathata
- Lid not closing smoothly or quietly: Check for any obstructions around the lid hinges or the pedal mechanism. Ensure the oil damper is not damaged. If the issue persists, contact customer support.
- Garbage bag slipping: Ensure the smart liner unit is correctly positioned over the bag's rim and that the bag fixer is engaged. Use bags that are appropriately sized for a 55L bin.
- Pedal not functioning: Check for any debris or objects lodged under the pedal. Ensure the pedal mechanism is free to move.
