Upon unboxing your Microsoft Surface Pro 9, ensure all the following items are present:

3.1. Unboxing and First Power-On
Carefully remove the Surface Pro 9 and its accessories from the packaging. Connect the power supply to the device and a power outlet. 3.2. Attaching the Keyboard (Optional)
If you have a Surface Pro Keyboard, align the magnetic connector on the keyboard with the bottom edge of the Surface Pro 9 until it clicks into place. The keyboard will automatically be recognized by the device.

5. Operating Your Surface Pro 9
5.1. Using the Kickstand
The integrated kickstand allows you to adjust the screen to various angles for comfortable viewing, typing, or drawing. Simply pull the kickstand out from the back of the device and position it to your desired angle.
5.2. Tablet and Laptop Modes
The Surface Pro 9 seamlessly transitions between a full-fledged laptop experience with the optional keyboard and a portable tablet. In tablet mode, interact directly with the touchscreen using your fingers or the optional Surface Slim Pen 2.
