The Poly Voyager 4310 UC is a single-ear (mono) Bluetooth wireless headset designed for seamless connectivity across multiple devices, ideal for hybrid workers. It features dual-mic Acoustic Fence technology for noise cancellation, ensuring clear communication. This manual provides essential information for setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting your headset.

Tlhophiso
1. Connecting to PC/Mac via USB-A Bluetooth Adapter
- Insert the BT700 USB-A Bluetooth adapter into an available USB-A port on your computer.
- The adapter's LED will blink blue, then turn solid blue when connected to the headset.
- The headset comes pre-paired with the BT700 adapter. If not, refer to the pairing instructions in the Operating section.

2. Connecting to Mobile Device via Bluetooth
- On your headset, slide and hold the Power switch towards the Bluetooth icon until you hear "pairing" and the headset LEDs flash red and blue.
- On your mobile device, go to Bluetooth settings and select "Poly Voyager 4310 UC" from the list of available devices.

3. Ho tjhaja Headset
Connect the charging cable to the headset's charging port and to a USB power source. A full charge takes approximately 1.6 hours. The headset offers up to 24 hours of wireless talk time.

Slide the Power switch to the ON or OFF position. The headset will announce its power status and connection.

Use the volume buttons located on the earcup to adjust the listening volume. These buttons control the system's audio output directly.
Khutsa/Budisa
Press the mute button located on the microphone boom to mute or unmute your microphone. The headset will provide vocal reminders such as "mute on" or "mute off". The BT700 adapter also has an LED indicator that turns red when muted.
Phetoho ea Microphone
The flexible microphone boom can be adjusted up or down for optimal positioning. Ensure the microphone is close to your mouth for best audio pickup.
Khokahano ea lintlha tse ngata
The headset supports connecting to two devices simultaneously (e.g., PC and mobile phone) and remembers up to 8 devices. This allows for seamless switching between calls on different platforms.

The Poly Voyager 4310 UC is certified for Microsoft Teams and Zoom, and works effectively with various softphone applications and communication platforms.

- The mute button on the headset may not function if no application is actively using the microphone as an input device. Ensure you are in a call or a voice application (e.g., Zoom, Teams) for the mute function to work as intended.
- Poor Wireless Range:
- The specified range is up to 50m/164ft. Obstructions like walls, furniture, or other electronic devices can reduce range.
- Try repositioning the BT700 USB-A adapter, perhaps using a USB extension cable, to ensure a clear line of sight or fewer obstructions between the adapter and the headset.
- Audio Quality Issues (Echo/Muffled Sound):
- Ensure the microphone boom is properly positioned close to your mouth.
- Check for firmware updates via Poly Lens software.
- If using with a softphone, ensure the software is up-to-date.
