Basic Weighing Procedure
- Matlafatsa: Tobetsa ea BONAHALA/TSHA button. Wait for the display to show "0.0".
- Ho fokotsa Sekala: If the display does not show "0.0" when empty, press the ZERO konopo ho e seta bocha.
- Kgetha Diyuniti: Tobetsa ea LIEKETSENG button to toggle between pounds (lb) and kilograms (kg). The selected unit will be displayed.
- Boima: Carefully assist the patient onto the center of the weighing platform. Ensure the patient remains still. The weight will be displayed on the indicator.
- Lock/Release: The LOCK/RELEASE button can be used to hold the displayed weight after the patient steps off, or to release the held weight.
- Tlosa motlakase: Tobetsa ea BONAHALA/TSHA button again to turn off the scale when not in use.

The Detecto 6800-AC scale can calculate Body Mass Index (BMI).
- Weigh Patient: Follow the basic weighing procedure to obtain the patient's weight.
- Enter Height: Once the weight is stable, press the BMI/ENTER button. The display will prompt for height input. Use the arrow keys (PHAHAMA/TLASE) to adjust the height value.
- Confirm Height: Tobetsa BMI/ENTER again to confirm the height. The scale will then display the calculated BMI.
