Before cleaning, you may apply a chemical pre-spray directly to the carpet. For maintenance cleaning, EDIC recommends applying a pre-spray and allowing it to dwell for 5 to 10 minutes before scrubbing and rinsing with the Fivestar. For difficult spots and high-traffic lanes, you might need to agitate the chemical into the carpet fibers using a carpet brush or rake.
