4. Physical Components and Interfaces
The Hikvision IP Indoor Station features a sleek design with a 7-inch touch screen. The models DS-KH6350-WTE1 and DS-KH6351-WTE1 are available in different finishes, typically white and black respectively.

5. Ho seta le ho kenya
The Hikvision IP Indoor Station is designed for surface mounting. Follow these general steps for installation and initial setup.

- Choose a suitable location for surface mounting, ensuring it is at an appropriate height for user interaction.
- Secure the mounting bracket to the wall using the provided screws and wall plugs.
- Connect the necessary cables (Ethernet for PoE, power if not using PoE, alarm inputs/outputs) to the terminals on the back of the indoor station. Refer to Figure 4.4 and 4.5 for interface locations.
- Carefully attach the indoor station to the mounted bracket.
5.2 Tlhophiso ea Pele
The device features an easy wizard for quick setup, allowing you to configure the entire system directly on the 7-inch touch screen without needing a PC.
- Matlafatsa: Connect the device to a Power over Ethernet (PoE) switch or a 12V DC power adapter.
- Boot ea pele: The device will boot up and guide you through an initial setup wizard.
- Litlhophiso tsa Marang-rang: Configure network parameters (IP address, subnet mask, gateway, DNS). If using DHCP, it will obtain settings automatically. For Wi-Fi models, select your Wi-Fi network and enter the password.
- Litlhophiso tsa Sistimi: Set date, time, language, and other basic system preferences.
- Intercom Configuration: Pair with your Hikvision door station(s) and any other indoor extensions.
- Hik-Connect App Integration: Follow the on-screen instructions to link your device to the Hik-Connect mobile application for remote control and monitoring.

The 7-inch capacitive touch screen provides an intuitive interface for daily operations.
6.1 Ts'ebetso ea Motheo
- Ho araba Mehala: When a visitor presses the call button on the door station, the indoor station will ring. Tap the 'Answer' icon on the screen to establish communication.

- Phela View: Access the live video feed from your door station or linked CCTV cameras by selecting the 'Live View' option on the main menu.
- Voice Messages: If you are unavailable, the indoor station can be configured to record voice messages from visitors. You can access and play these messages from the device menu.
6.2 Hik-Connect Mobile Control
The Hik-Connect app allows for convenient remote control and monitoring of your indoor station from anywhere.

- Remote Answering: Receive calls from your door station directly on your smartphone.

- Live Monitoring: View real-time video from your door station and connected cameras.

- Tsamaiso ea Karete ea TF: If using a TF card for captured pictures or event recording, regularly check its storage capacity and format it if necessary to maintain performance.

- No Audio/Video During Call: Check microphone and loudspeaker settings. Ensure network bandwidth is sufficient for video streaming.
