Follow these steps to set up your Trust DOORCAM-4000 Video Doorbell and connect it to the Trust WiFi app.
App Installation and Device Pairing
- Step 1: Download the Trust WiFi App.
Batla "Trust WiFi" in your smartphone's app store (iOS or Android) and install the application. - Step 2: Open the Trust WiFi App.
Launch the Trust WiFi application on your smartphone.
The Trust WiFi app allows full control and monitoring of your doorbell.
- Step 3: Add Device.
In the app, select "Add Device" or tap the "+" icon. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone. - Step 4: Select Doorbell Camera.
From the list of device categories, navigate to "Doorbell Camera" and select your doorbell model (DOORCAM-3000/4000). - Step 5: Reset Device.
Follow the on-screen instructions to activate the doorbell camera by holding down the ON/OFF button for 5 seconds. Ensure the LED indicator is flashing red and a tone is heard. If the LED is not flashing red or no tone is heard, press the reset button for 5 seconds. Then select "Next step" in the app. - Step 6: Connect to 2.4GHz WiFi.
Select your 2.4 GHz WiFi network and enter the password. Bohlokoa: The camera only operates on a 2.4 GHz WiFi network. Click "Next". - Step 7: Confirm WiFi Credentials.
Review your WiFi details and click "Confirm and Proceed". - Step 8: Scan QR Code.
Scan the QR code displayed on your smartphone screen with the doorbell camera. Hold the camera at a distance of 15 to 20 cm from the QR code. The camera will emit a confirmation signal. Select "I Heard a Prompt" in the app. - Step 9 (Optional): Name Your Camera.
You can assign a custom name to your doorbell camera. Press "Done" to confirm. - Step 10: Installation Complete.
The device will now be added to your app. Once the installation is complete, you can access the live feed and settings.
