The BENGOO TA86 headset offers three connection methods:

4.1 2.4GHz Wireless Connection (PC, PS4, PS5, Laptop)

  1. Insert the 2.4GHz USB dongle into an available USB port on your PC, PS4, PS5, or laptop.
  2. Power on the headset by pressing and holding the Power Button.
  3. Ensure the headset is in 2.4GHz mode (indicated by a green light on the dongle). If not, press and hold the 'M' button (Mode Switch) on the headset for 3 seconds to switch modes until the green light appears.
  4. The headset should automatically connect to the dongle. You may need to select the headset as the default audio input/output device in your system settings.

4.2 Bluetooth 5.3 Connection (Mac, Switch, Mobile Devices)

Note: Bluetooth function does not support PS4 or PS5 directly.

  1. Power on the headset by pressing and holding the Power Button.
  2. Press and hold the 'M' button (Mode Switch) on the headset for 3 seconds to switch to Bluetooth mode (indicated by a blue light).
  3. On your Mac, Switch, or mobile device, navigate to the Bluetooth settings and enable Bluetooth.
  4. Batla available devices and select "BENGOO TA86" to pair.
  5. Once paired, the headset will connect, and you can use it for audio.

4.3 3.5mm Wired Connection (Xbox One, Xbox Series, other 3.5mm devices)

Note: In 3.5mm wired mode, only headset sound and microphone function. RGB light effects and mic mute function are inactive.

  1. Connect one end of the included 3.5mm audio cable to the 3.5mm audio port on the headset.
  2. Connect the other end of the 3.5mm audio cable to the 3.5mm port on your Xbox controller or other compatible device.

The BENGOO TA86 features dynamic RGB lighting effects:

  • Change Light Effect: Double-click the Mic Button to cycle through different RGB lighting modes.
  • Tima Mabone: Press and hold the Mic Button for 3 seconds to turn off the RGB lights.

Use the Volume +/- buttons on the headset to adjust the audio output level to your preference.

  1. Connect the USB-C charging cable to the Type-C port on the headset.

  • RGB Lights Not Working in Wired Mode:
    • This is normal. RGB lighting is only active in wireless modes.
  • Low Latency Issues:
    • Ensure you are using the 2.4GHz wireless connection for the lowest latency experience, especially for gaming.
    • Reduce interference by moving closer to the 2.4GHz USB dongle.
