The MAXTO MX2 unit features an intuitive design with easily accessible controls. Familiarize yourself with the buttons and ports before installation.

Before first use, fully charge the MX2 unit. Connect the provided USB Type-C cable to the charging port on the device and a compatible USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, wall adapter). A fully charged battery provides up to 20 hours of continuous use and 200 hours of standby time.

4.2 Ho kenya Helmete

The MX2 can be installed using either the iron clip mount or the adhesive mount, depending on your helmet type and preference. The iron clip is recommended for its durability and ease of transfer between helmets.

  2. Hokela Mount:
    • Iron Clip Mount: Slide the clip between the helmet shell and the inner padding. Ensure it is securely fastened.
    • Adhesive Mount: Clean the chosen area thoroughly. Peel off the protective film from the adhesive mount and firmly press it onto the helmet surface for at least 30 seconds. Allow the adhesive to cure for 24 hours before attaching the unit.
  3. Attach MX2 Unit: Slide the MX2 unit onto the chosen mount until it clicks securely into place.
  4. Kenya Libui: Place the speakers inside the helmet's ear pockets. Ensure they are positioned directly over your ears for optimal sound quality. Use the provided hook-and-loop fasteners if necessary.

    • Boom Microphone (for open-face/modular helmets): Attach the boom microphone to the inside of the helmet, positioning it close to your mouth.
    • Soft Wire Microphone (for full-face helmets): Route the soft wire microphone along the helmet's interior, positioning the microphone element near your mouth, typically within the chin bar area.
  6. Connect Headset Cable: Plug the speaker and microphone cable into the headset port on the MX2 unit.

5.2 Bluetooth Pairing with Mobile Devices

The MX2 uses Bluetooth 5.0 for stable and efficient wireless communication.

  1. Ensure the MX2 unit is powered off.
  2. Press and hold the MFB (Multi-function Button) for approximately 5-7 seconds until the indicator light flashes red and blue alternately, indicating pairing mode.

5.3 Intercom Function (2-Rider)

The MX2 allows for 2-rider intercom communication up to 1000 meters in open terrain.

  2. On one unit, short press the Power/Intercom Button to initiate an intercom connection.
  3. The units will attempt to connect. Once connected, the indicator lights will change, and you will hear a confirmation tone.
  4. To end an intercom call, short press the Power/Intercom Button again.

Note: The 1000m communication distance is an ideal range and may vary depending on surrounding obstacles, terrain, and radio wave environment.

5.4 Music Playback and Sharing

Enjoy your favorite music with Hi-Fi stereo sound quality. The MX2 also supports music sharing between two connected units.

The integrated FM radio allows you to listen to news and traffic information while riding.

  • Turn On/Off FM Radio: Double-press the Power/Intercom Button.

  • Support for Social Software Calls: The headset supports answering calls from applications like WhatsApp, Line, and WeChat.
