The Lexicon Dade Queen Platform Bed is designed to offer a modern and versatile sleeping solution. This platform bed features a gray velvet fabric upholstered headboard with vertical channel-tufting, complemented by a brushed gray finish on the engineered wood frame, footboard, and rails. Its platform construction eliminates the need for a box spring.

Please read and understand all instructions before beginning assembly. Failure to follow these instructions may result in injury or damage to the product. Keep all small parts and packaging materials away from children. Assembly should be performed by at least two adults. Do not use power tools for assembly unless specifically instructed, as overtightening fasteners can cause damage. Ensure all connections are secure before use. Do not exceed the recommended weight capacity for the bed frame.

Follow these steps carefully for proper assembly. It is recommended to assemble the bed in the room where it will be used.

  2. Hokela Li-Side Rails ho Headboard: Align the side rails with the pre-drilled holes on the headboard. Secure them using the appropriate bolts and washers from the hardware pack. Do not fully tighten bolts until all major components are connected.
  3. Kenya Lireile Tse ka Mahlakoreng ho Footboard: Connect the other end of the side rails to the footboard, aligning holes and securing with bolts and washers. Once all four corners are connected, gently tighten all bolts using the provided Allen wrench.

  6. Place Support Slats: Lay the wooden support slats across the bed frame, ensuring they are evenly spaced and secured to the side rails using the provided fasteners (if applicable). The slats provide the necessary support for your mattress.

This platform bed is designed to be used without a box spring. Simply place your queen-sized mattress directly onto the support slats. Ensure the mattress is centered and evenly distributed on the frame. Avoid jumping on the bed or placing excessive localized weight on any single point of the frame or slats.

  • Cleaning Velvet Upholstery: For general cleaning, gently vacuum the velvet fabric using an upholstery attachment. For spills, blot immediately with a clean, dry cloth. For stubborn stains, consult a professional upholstery cleaner. Avoid harsh chemicals.
