This manual provides essential information for the setup, operation, and maintenance of your Blink Outdoor 4 Floodlight Mount. This accessory is designed to integrate seamlessly with your Blink Outdoor 4 camera system (sold separately) to provide enhanced security lighting.

The Blink Outdoor 4 Floodlight Mount is designed for easy self-installation. Ensure you have your Blink Outdoor 4 camera system and a Sync Module (both sold separately) ready before proceeding.
1. Package Contents Verification
Before starting, verify that all components are present:
- One Blink Outdoor 4 Floodlight Mount
- Four D-Cell alkaline batteries
- One mounting kit (for drill and no-drill installation)

- Locate the battery compartment on the Floodlight Mount.
- Insert the four D-Cell batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).

3. Mounting the Floodlight
The mounting kit supports both drill and no-drill installation methods. Choose the method appropriate for your desired location.

4. Connecting to Blink Outdoor 4 Camera
- Once the Floodlight Mount is securely installed, attach your Blink Outdoor 4 camera to the designated slot on the mount.
- Connect the Micro USB-C cable from the Floodlight Mount to your Blink Outdoor 4 camera. This provides power to the camera from the floodlight's D-Cell batteries.
- Open the Blink Home Monitor app on your smartphone.
- Follow the in-app instructions to link the Floodlight Mount with your Blink Outdoor 4 camera system. This typically involves adding the floodlight as an accessory to your existing camera setup.

Operating the Floodlight Mount
The Floodlight Mount enhances your Blink Outdoor 4 camera's capabilities with powerful illumination.
1. Motion-Triggered Lighting
When motion is detected by your Blink Outdoor 4 camera, the Floodlight Mount's 700-lumen LED lights will automatically activate, illuminating the area. You will also receive notifications on your smartphone via the Blink app.
2. Manual Control via Blink App
You can manually control the floodlight's illumination and your Blink Outdoor 4 camera directly from the Blink Home Monitor app. This allows you to turn the lights on or off as needed, independent of motion detection.
3. Alexa Integration
When connected to your Blink Outdoor 4 camera, the Floodlight Mount can be controlled using Alexa-enabled devices. You can use voice commands to:
- Stream HD live video from your camera.
- Arm and disarm your Blink system.
- Activate the floodlight's lights.
- And more, depending on available Alexa skills for Blink.

The Floodlight Mount is powered by four D-Cell alkaline batteries, offering up to two years of battery life under default settings. Battery life may vary based on usage and environmental factors. When battery levels are low, you will receive a notification via the Blink app. Replace all four batteries simultaneously with new D-Cell alkaline batteries.

To maintain optimal performance and appearance, periodically clean the Floodlight Mount. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe down the exterior. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, which can damage the finish or electronic components.
