- Khetha Sebaka: Select a suitable wall above a window, door, or patio area. Ensure the wall material (brick, concrete) is strong enough to support the awning.
- Lekanya le Tšoaea: Use a measuring tape and level to mark the positions for the mounting brackets. Ensure the marks are level and spaced correctly according to the awning's width.
- Drill Holes: Drill pilot holes at the marked positions. Use appropriate drill bits for your wall type.
- Kenya Masakana: Secure the mounting brackets to the wall using suitable anchors and screws (not always included, verify package contents). Ensure they are firmly attached.
- Mount Awning: Carefully lift the awning and attach it to the installed brackets. Secure it in place using the provided fasteners.
- Attach Hand Crank: Connect the hand crank to the designated mechanism on the awning.
- Ts'ebetso ea liteko: Slowly extend and retract the awning using the hand crank to ensure smooth operation and proper alignment.
Important: It is highly recommended to have at least two people for the installation process due to the size and weight of the awning.

- Ho eketsa Awning: Insert the hand crank into the loop or hook on the awning mechanism. Turn the crank clockwise to extend the awning. Continue turning until the desired projection is reached.
- Ho Hlōla Awning: To retract the awning, turn the hand crank counter-clockwise. Continue turning until the awning is fully closed against the wall.
- Adjusting the Tilt Angle: The awning's tilt angle can be adjusted between 5° and 35°. Locate the angle adjustment device on the arms or brackets. Loosen the adjustment bolts, set the desired angle, and then securely tighten the bolts. Ensure both sides are adjusted equally for even tension.
