5. Litaelo tsa Ts'ebetso
Your KOIOS humidifier features simple controls for ease of use.
Motlakase/O tima
- Press the power button once to turn the humidifier on.
- Press the power button again to cycle through mist settings or turn off.
Mist Output Adjustment
The humidifier offers three mist output levels: High (H), Medium (M), and Low (L).
- Holimo (H): Provides 350-380mL/h mist output for 12-13 hours runtime.
- Mahareng (M): Provides 240-270mL/h mist output for 15-16 hours runtime.
- Tlase (L): Provides 240-270mL/h mist output for 29-31 hours runtime. In this setting, the humidifier will run for 18 seconds and then pause for 18 seconds.

Regular cleaning is essential for optimal performance and hygiene. Always unplug the humidifier before cleaning.

- Empty the water tank and essential oil tray daily.
- Wipe down the inside of the water tank and the humidification unit with a clean cloth.
Thorough Cleaning (Weekly or as needed)
The innovative design allows for thorough cleaning, especially important if using essential oils.
- Qhala: Open the buckles on both sides of the humidification unit. Separate the humidification unit from its cover.
- Likarolo Tse Hloekileng: All parts that come into contact with water or mist can be easily cleaned. Use a soft brush or cloth and a mild descaling solution (e.g., white vinegar) to remove mineral buildup from the transducer and other surfaces. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
- Kopanya hape: Ensure all parts are dry before reassembling. Secure the humidification unit and its cover, ensuring the buckles click into place.

Bohlokoa: Do not immerse the main humidification unit (the top part with controls and power connection) in water. Only clean the detachable components that are designed to be washed.
