6. Drainage Options

Your dehumidifier offers two convenient ways to remove collected water:

6.1. Emptying the Water Bucket (Manual)

When the water bucket is full, the unit will automatically shut off, and an audible alarm will sound for 10 seconds. The 'Empty' indicator light will illuminate.

  1. Gently pull out the water bucket from the front of the unit.

  4. Slide the empty bucket back into the dehumidifier until it clicks into place. The unit will resume operation.

6.2. Continuous Drainage (Hose Connection)

  1. Locate the continuous drain outlet on the rear of the unit.
  2. Remove the plastic cap (if present).
  3. Thread a standard garden hose onto the outlet, ensuring a tight connection to prevent leaks.
  4. Route the hose to a floor drain or suitable receptacle, ensuring the hose is sloped downwards to allow gravity drainage.

7.2. Cleaning the Water Bucket

Clean the water bucket regularly to prevent mold and mildew growth.

  • Remove the bucket as described in Section 6.1.
