The LAUNCH CRP123 V2.0 ELITE is designed for plug-and-play operation, requiring no prior registration. Simply connect the device to your vehicle's OBDII port to begin diagnostics.

  1. Locate your vehicle's 16-pin OBDII port (typically under the dashboard).
  2. Connect the OBD2 Main Cable to the CRP123 Main Unit and then to your vehicle's OBDII port.
  3. Turn on your vehicle's ignition (engine can be off or running, depending on the desired diagnostic mode).
  4. The device will power on automatically and may perform an Auto VIN scan to identify your vehicle.
  5. Select the desired menu option to start diagnosis.

Special Functions: 3 Reset Functions

The 2025 model of the CRP123 V2.0 ELITE includes three newly added reset functions, free for lifetime use, to assist with common maintenance tasks.

The LAUNCH CRP123 V2.0 ELITE offers lifetime free updates to ensure you always have the latest software, vehicle coverage, and bug fixes. Updates are performed via a PC.

  2. Find 'Service' >> 'Download' >> 'DIY integration upgrade tool'.
  3. Download and install the update tool.

  5. Hit [Device Upgrade] to enter the register page, type your email info, check the 'Register Code' on the device menu 'Help--Tool Information'. (Note: the 'User password' is equal to the 'Register Code'.)
  6. Install the TF card from the tool into the supplied USB TF card adapter and insert into USB port of CPU.
