The myTouchSmart 35167 system consists of two main components: a wireless remote control and a dual outlet plug-in receiver.
Wireless Remote Control
The remote features a backlit LED display, various programming buttons, and a kickstand for tabletop use or a keyhole for wall mounting. It operates on 3 AAA batteries.

Dual Outlet Plug-in Receiver
This weather-resistant unit plugs directly into a standard wall outlet and provides two grounded outlets for connecting your devices. It communicates wirelessly with the remote control up to 100 feet away.

1. Install Remote Batteries
Open the battery compartment on the back of the wireless remote control and insert the 3 AAA batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment securely.
2. Plug in the Receiver
Plug the dual outlet receiver into a standard 3-prong grounded wall outlet. The receiver is weather-resistant and suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Ensure the location is secure and protected from excessive moisture.

Plug the lights or appliances you wish to control into the two grounded outlets on the receiver.
4. Set Current Time on Remote
On the remote control, use the UP le TLASE arrow buttons to set the current time. The display will show AM/PM indicators.

Setting Custom ON/OFF Times

Using Preset Schedules
The timer includes three convenient preset options:
- Evening (5 PM - 12 AM): Tobetsa ea TSIETSI button to activate this schedule.
- Morning (5 AM - 8 AM): Tobetsa ea MOSO button to activate this schedule.
- All Night (6 PM - 6 AM): Tobetsa ea ALL NIGHT button to activate this schedule.
Only one preset or custom schedule can be active at a time. The blue indicator light next to the button will show the active program.

To set a countdown timer (from 1 minute to 24 hours):
- Tobetsa ea MY COUNTDOWN button. The display will show '00:00' and flash.
- Sebelisa le UP le TLASE arrow buttons to set the desired countdown duration.
- Tobetsa MY COUNTDOWN again to start the countdown. The connected devices will turn ON for the set duration and then turn OFF.
Manual ON/OFF Override
To manually turn the connected devices ON or OFF, overriding any active program:
- Tobetsa ea ON button to turn the devices ON.
- Tobetsa ea TLOA button to turn the devices OFF.
This manual override will remain active until the next scheduled program event or until another program is selected.
Controlling Multiple Receivers
One wireless remote control can operate multiple myTouchSmart indoor and outdoor receivers (sold separately). To control additional receivers, simply plug them in and they will respond to the same remote's signals within range.

When the remote control display becomes dim or unresponsive, it is time to replace the 3 AAA batteries. Open the battery compartment on the back of the remote, remove the old batteries, and insert new ones, ensuring correct polarity. The backup battery in the receiver saves custom settings if unplugged, but the remote's batteries are essential for programming and manual control.
