2. Oil Filter Replacement

After draining the old engine oil, locate the oil filter.

Apply a thin film of new engine oil to the rubber gasket of the new oil filter.
Screw on the new oil filter by hand until the gasket makes contact with the engine block. Then, tighten an additional 1/2 to 3/4 turn. Do not overtighten.
After refilling the engine oil, run the generator for a few minutes and check for leaks around the oil filter.
