The Ooma Telo is a Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) device designed to provide affordable home phone service using your high-speed internet connection. It offers crystal-clear nationwide calling, advanced features, and the convenience of a traditional landline without the high costs.

Follow these steps to set up your Ooma Telo device:
- Activate Your Ooma Telo: Etela ooma.com/activate or use the Ooma Setup mobile app to activate your device and choose a phone number.
- Connect to Your Internet:
- Connect one end of the provided Ethernet cable to the "INTERNET" port on your Ooma Telo.
- Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable to an open Ethernet port on your modem or router.
- Hokela Mohala oa Hao: Plug your existing home phone into the "PHONE" port on the Ooma Telo using a standard phone cable.
- Matlafatsa: Connect the AC power adapter to the "POWER" port on the Ooma Telo and then plug it into a wall outlet. The Ooma logo will illuminate blue when the device is ready.
- Make Your First Call: Once the Ooma logo is solid blue, pick up your phone and dial a number to confirm the service is active.

To make a call, simply pick up your connected phone and dial the number as you normally would. Ooma Telo provides crystal-clear voice quality over your internet connection.
4.2 Ho Amohela Mehala
When your phone rings, pick up the handset to answer. Caller ID information will be displayed on your phone if supported.
4.3 Voesemeile
The Ooma Telo includes a voicemail service. To access your voicemail, press the Bapala button on the Telo device or dial *99 from your connected phone. You can also access voicemail online via your My Ooma account or through the mobile app.

4.4 Call Waiting & Caller ID
These standard features are included. Call Waiting allows you to receive a second call while on the phone, and Caller ID displays the incoming caller's information.

Download the free Ooma mobile app for iOS or Android devices to take your Ooma service on the go. Make and receive calls, check voicemail, and manage your account from your smartphone.

Upgrade to Ooma Premier for enhanced features, including:
- Robocall Blocking: Advanced features to block unwanted telemarketers and scam calls.
