4. Operating Instructions: Electric Can Opener
The Rowenta KM-03 features an automatic stop function for hands-free operation.
- Lift the operating lever.
- Position the can so that the rim is under the guide wheel and the cutting blade is inside the rim.
- Press down the operating lever firmly until the cutting blade pierces the can lid. The motor will start automatically.
- Hold the lever down for a moment until the can opener grips the can and begins to rotate it. You can then release the lever.
- The can opener will automatically cut around the lid and stop once the can is fully opened.
- To remove the can, lift the operating lever. The lid may remain attached to the magnetic holder. Carefully remove the lid and dispose of it.
Warning: Can edges and lids can be sharp. Handle with care.
5. Operating Instructions: Built-in Knife Sharpener
The built-in knife sharpener is suitable for sharpening non-serrated knife blades. It features variable thickness bars to accommodate different blade types.
- Ensure the can opener is unplugged from the power outlet before using the knife sharpener.
- Locate the knife sharpening slot on the side of the appliance.
- Insert the knife blade into the sharpening slot, ensuring it is centered between the abrasive wheels.
- Gently pull the knife blade towards you, applying light, even pressure. Do not push the knife away from you.
- Repeat this motion 3-5 times, or until the desired sharpness is achieved.
