The COX 61009 applicator is designed for efficient bulk material dispensing with the following key features:

  • True adjustable air regulator (100 PSI Maximum operating; 145 PSI Maximum Input)
  • Piston rod action on bulk material for consistent flow
  • Drawn aluminum barrel for durability
  • Quick release end cap for easy loading and cleaning
  • Reverse air plunger return with trigger for efficient material loading
  • Series 1 Air System for reliable performance
  • Leather plunger assembly for effective sealing
  • Instant dump valve for immediate pressure release

Tlhophiso

  1. Hokela Phepelo ea Moea: Attach the provided air hose connector to your air compressor's hose. Ensure a secure, leak-free connection. The tool operates with a maximum input pressure of 145 PSI, with an optimal operating pressure of 100 PSI.
  2. Fetola Khatello ea Moea: Use the adjustable air regulator on the tool to set the desired operating pressure. Start with a lower pressure and increase as needed for the material consistency.
  3. Load Bulk Material:
    • Unscrew the quick release end cap from the barrel.
    • Insert the bulk material into the barrel. For efficient loading, utilize the reverse air plunger return feature by triggering the tool while the plunger is positioned to draw material into the barrel.
    • Replace and secure the end cap.
  4. Hokela Nozzle: Select an appropriate yellow cone nozzle for your application and securely attach it to the front of the applicator.

  1. Initiate Flow: Point the nozzle at the desired application area. Press the trigger to begin dispensing material. The piston rod action will push the bulk material through the nozzle.
  2. Control Flow: Adjust the trigger pressure to control the flow rate of the material. The adjustable air regulator also allows for fine-tuning the overall dispensing speed.
  3. Stop Flow: Release the trigger to stop the material flow. The instant dump valve will release pressure, preventing drips.
  4. Reverse Air Plunger Return: This feature allows for drawing material back into the barrel or for easier loading. Consult the setup section for loading instructions using this feature.

Tlhokomelo

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your applicator.

  • Ho hloekisa: After each use, especially with fast-curing materials, disconnect the air supply and disassemble the barrel and nozzle. Clean all components thoroughly to prevent material buildup.
  • Leather Plunger Care: Periodically inspect the leather plunger assembly for wear. If it appears dry, apply a small amount of lubricant suitable for leather to maintain its sealing properties.
  • Air System Check: Regularly check air connections for leaks. Ensure the air regulator functions smoothly.
  • Polokelo: Store the applicator in a clean, dry environment.
