The Nikon COOLPIX L10 uses one AA-size alkaline battery. For optimal performance, use high-quality alkaline or NiMH rechargeable batteries.

  1. Open the battery chamber cover located on the bottom of the camera.
  2. Insert the AA battery according to the polarity indicators (+/-) inside the compartment.
  3. Close the battery chamber cover securely until it clicks into place.

The camera supports SD (Secure Digital) memory cards. A memory card is required to store photos and videos.

  1. Open the memory card slot cover (usually located near the battery compartment or on the side).
  2. Insert the memory card with the label facing the correct direction, pushing it gently until it clicks into place.
